Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute weekend events including festivals, tours, and pop-up experiences
- Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, staffing, and safety protocols
- Lead teams of 5-15 part-time staff during peak weekend hours
- Deliver exceptional customer service to 100+ attendees per event
- Develop innovative event concepts that highlight Philadelphia's unique neighborhoods
- Track performance metrics and implement improvements for future events
- Maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Deep knowledge of Philadelphia attractions and local culture
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams
- Flexibility to work weekends (Fri-Sun) with weekdays off
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities during high-pressure situations
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
