Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities and administrative tasks during weekend shifts
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and medical record documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications with professionalism
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for weekend procedures
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare preferred
- 2+ years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience
- CPR certification and basic life support training
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
