Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during weekend shifts
- Supplement clinical staff coverage across departments as needed
- Manage electronic health records and ensure documentation compliance
- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve operational issues
- Conduct weekend quality assurance checks and safety audits
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists
- Prepare weekend shift reports for handover to weekday teams
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years of healthcare coordination experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
