Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care services across multiple departments during weekend shifts
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to medical protocols and safety standards
- Handle emergency triage and patient assessments with clinical precision
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists for patient care coordination
- Conduct weekend staff training and competency assessments
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient care needs
