Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Manage patient records using EMR systems with precision
- Coordinate patient scheduling and flow through examination rooms
- Maintain sterile examination environments and equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active CMA or RMA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of collaborative teams
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
