Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) in our Chicago facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and document all care activities accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and team briefings
Qualifications
- Current and valid nursing license (RN, LPN, or CNA) in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience with weekend shift availability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and cultural sensitivity
