Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless patient handovers
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and quality initiatives
- Mentor new staff during weekday orientation sessions
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN or LPN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain)
- Strong weekend availability and flexibility
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts with 2 weekdays off
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
