Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care team communications
- Implement patient safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Mentor new staff during weekend rotations
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current CA RN or LVN license required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Strong weekend shift adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
