Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care plans during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments following clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in weekend team huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license or equivalent healthcare certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification with ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating holidays as needed
