Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assistance during weekend shifts in clinical and non-clinical settings
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Administer basic medical procedures under supervision as per protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning activities
- Collaborate with weekend staff to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA or medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years healthcare experience in weekend or shift-based roles
- Current BLS/CPR certification and valid Texas driver's license
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Flexibility to cover varied weekend shifts including holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
