Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Manage patient electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management for weekend operations
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or related field (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- CPR certification and current Pennsylvania medical credentials
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on weekends
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts as needed
