Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise weekend distribution teams across 3 DC facilities
- Implement real-time logistics optimization using proprietary tracking systems
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain service SLAs
- Conduct weekend performance audits and process improvement initiatives
- Manage cross-functional handovers with weekday operations teams
- Train and mentor weekend staff on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Generate weekend performance reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management
- 3+ years experience in warehouse/distribution operations
- Proven weekend shift management in high-volume environments
- Advanced proficiency in WMS and logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid DC driver's license with clean record
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety audits
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday oversight
