Our Charlotte facility serves as a critical hub for East Coast distribution, processing over 50,000 packages weekly. You'll lead a cross-functional team of 15+ specialists, ensuring seamless coordination between warehousing, transportation, and customer service departments. This position reports directly to the Regional Director and includes performance-based bonuses and quarterly profit-sharing opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and develop a weekend team of 15+ staff, conducting daily briefings and performance reviews
- Optimize shift workflows to maintain 99.8% on-time delivery rate during peak weekend volumes
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards across all weekend activities
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure seamless weekend logistics and last-mile delivery
- Monitor KPIs including throughput, accuracy rates, and labor efficiency metrics
- Collaborate with weekday managers to ensure operational continuity and process improvements
- Manage weekend inventory cycles and conduct cycle counts with 100% accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in warehouse/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proven track record leading teams of 10+ in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan) and inventory management
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Advanced problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Excellent communication abilities with cross-functional leadership experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred
