Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care workflows across weekend shifts, ensuring seamless transitions between departments
- Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation for Saturday/Sunday operations
- Resolve emergent issues and implement protocols for after-hours clinical scenarios
- Conduct weekend staff briefings and performance evaluations
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with weekday leadership teams for continuity of care
- Lead weekend patient discharge planning and follow-up coordination
- Monitor equipment and supply inventory for weekend operational needs
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years healthcare coordination or supervisory experience
- Strong conflict resolution and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR experience a plus)
- Flexibility to work exclusively weekends (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Certified in BLS/CPR (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously in unsupervised settings
