Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend shifts across multiple departments
- Manage weekend staffing schedules and ensure optimal coverage
- Oversee weekend admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
- Act as primary liaison between weekend staff on-call specialists
- Implement emergency protocols during weekend hours
- Conduct weekend compliance audits and quality assurance checks
- Generate weekend operational reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years healthcare coordination experience with weekend shift exposure
- Current Texas healthcare professional license (RN, LVN, or EMT)
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and scheduling systems
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
