Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend patient care workflows across 3 clinical departments
- Lead 12-person weekend medical teams during peak Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Implement weekend-specific emergency response protocols
- Monitor and optimize weekend patient throughput metrics
- Conduct weekend staff training and competency assessments
- Collaborate with weekday leadership for seamless care transitions
- Manage weekend inventory and supply chain operations
- Generate weekend performance reports for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 3+ years experience in weekend healthcare operations management
- Current RN or LPN license (or equivalent clinical credential)
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR and weekend scheduling systems
- OSHA and HIPPA compliance certification
- Strong weekend shift leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with weekend staff retention strategies
- Ability to work independently during weekend on-call rotations
