Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA/LPN/RN certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience required
- Availability to work consistently on weekends (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid North Carolina healthcare license (if applicable)
