Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend shifts, ensuring seamless transitions between departments
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical observations using electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Provide direct patient support including medication administration and wound care
- Conduct weekend patient assessments and emergency response coordination
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards
- Lead weekend team huddles to ensure operational excellence
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or outpatient setting
- Current Louisiana healthcare license and CPR certification
- Proven ability to work independently during weekend shifts
