Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs assessment, medication administration, and treatment assistance
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols and procedures
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Perform diagnostic tests and specimen collections as ordered by physicians
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient care areas and medical equipment
Qualifications
- Current state nursing license (LPN/RN) or medical assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays with rotating schedules
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid Ohio driver's license if required for facility travel
