Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun), ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain seamless patient continuity of care
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records with precision
- Respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility safety standards
- Participate in weekend staff development sessions and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient education and support to promote holistic health outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or related healthcare field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or ambulatory care setting
- Active Pennsylvania state license and BLS/CPR certification
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during off-peak hours
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail under pressure
