Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts, including vital signs, injections, and wound care
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Manage inventory and ensure clinic supplies are stocked
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credentials
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday shifts
