Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations during weekend shifts, including receiving, stocking, and order processing
- Optimize inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counts and reconciliation procedures
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Lead weekend team members in achieving daily productivity and quality targets
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless transition of critical tasks
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and warehouse activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience with weekend shift availability
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control software
- Forklift certification and experience operating heavy machinery
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-peak hours
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
