Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse staff and coordinate daily shift operations
- Ensure efficient loading/unloading of shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train and mentor new team members on equipment and procedures
- Optimize workflow to meet productivity targets during weekend peak hours
- Communicate with logistics team to ensure seamless cross-shift handovers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team management experience
- Proficient in inventory management systems (WMS preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus
