Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology integration across business units
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and invest in emerging startups
- Create whitepapers and thought leadership on future tech trends
- Design cross-functional innovation sprints for rapid prototyping
- Advose on ethical implications and regulatory compliance of emerging tech
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
