Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, sustainable computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen tech adoption patterns
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage innovation pipeline with $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Partner with MIT/Stanford research labs for cutting-edge technology scouting
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech ecosystems
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive technologies to enterprise level
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics frameworks, quantum computing applications, climate-tech modeling
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Fluency in future scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
