- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets
- Anticipate market disruptions and recommend pivot strategies
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers
- Secure 3+ industry partnerships annually for technology validation
- File 5+ patents per year in core technology domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in future-focused roles
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to market
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 10 publications)
- Experience leading $10M+ R&D budgets
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong patent portfolio (minimum 10 granted patents)
