Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ engineers in rapid prototyping of 2026-viable technologies
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through competitive federal grants and corporate partnerships
- Forge strategic alliances with DARPA, NASA, and top-tier universities for collaborative R&D
- Translate complex scientific breakthroughs into commercially viable IP portfolios
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor next-gen technologists through our Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, AI, or Sustainable Engineering with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of scaling lab innovations to enterprise-level deployments
- Expertise in securing SBIR grants and DoD innovation contracts
- Deep knowledge of ISO 26000 ESG frameworks for tech development
- Experience with agile methodologies in hardware-software integration
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
