Responsibilities

- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation
- Author thought leadership publications on tech evolution and societal impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning within tech or R&D environments
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies
- Expertise in emerging fields: quantum computing, AI ethics, or circular economy tech
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar designation required
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
