Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026-2030) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop cross-functional technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops with stakeholders to ideate future solutions
- Evaluate vendor partnerships and investment opportunities in frontier technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts affecting future adoption
- Manage a $5M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strong network with tech incubators, VCs, and research institutions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization
