Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI tracking and KPI reporting
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen technology research initiatives
- Develop go-to-market strategies for nascent technologies with 18-24 month horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Technology Readiness Levels)
- Experience securing SBIR grants or corporate venture capital funding
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and system architecture modeling
