Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic adoption
- Lead innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts for 2026 product launches
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven insights
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Build and lead a dedicated future technologies task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI, IoT, sustainable energy)
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Strategy preferred
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and boards
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management a plus
