Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitor innovations to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for R&D investment prioritization
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives and investor expectations
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts
- Present compelling tech foresight insights to stakeholders and drive adoption of experimental initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven 2026+ tech roadmap delivery
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis, scenario planning, and market forecasting
- Exceptional communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Track record of launching innovative products or services from concept to commercialization
- Experience with agile methodologies and cross-cultural team leadership
