Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-7 year commercial viability horizons
- Develop comprehensive technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor global tech trends through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and technology incubators
- Quantify potential ROI and risk factors for emerging technology investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching products using emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and investment committees
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology forecasting or commercialization
