Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future tech into product roadmaps
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for emerging domains
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ annual technology incubation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data modeling and financial acumen for tech ROI analysis
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
