Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging fields
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio for prototyping and experimental projects
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists and technical specialists
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of launching technology-driven products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across technical and business domains
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFMP) preferred
