Responsibilities
- Architect strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (2026-2030 horizon)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property roadmaps
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify acquisition targets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing product development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics frameworks, quantum computing applications, or sustainable tech
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with regulatory compliance for next-gen tech (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Strong network with academic institutions and global tech labs
- Certified in Futures Thinking methodologies (e.g., CTF)
- Prior experience leading teams of 20+ technical professionals
