- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with ROI projections
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership reports on technology futures and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience with scenario planning and foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CIO, CDMP) a plus
