Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Manage innovation budgets and ROI analysis for future technology investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management (e.g., CTO, CISSP) preferred
