Responsibilities

- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for R&D acceleration
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior engineers on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in commercializing AI/quantum/biotech innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping frameworks
- Published research or patents in at least one emerging technology domain
