Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Drive innovation workshops with Fortune 500 clients to co-create future-ready ecosystems
- Author thought leadership on technology convergence and societal impact
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging technologies
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic tech (quantum/AI/AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or decentralized systems
- Experience leading enterprise transformation for Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals or conferences
- Strong network with global research institutions and tech innovators
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
