Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruptions
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech) for commercial viability and strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and investors
- Build and mentor a high-impact future technologies task force
- Monitor ethical implications and societal impacts of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
