Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology foresight strategy incorporating AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory impacts on emerging markets
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2026's most pressing challenges
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ year development cycles
- Published research or patents in future technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Strong network connections with global tech research communities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
