Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including generative AI and neuromorphic computing
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire breakthrough startups
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Establish industry standards through thought leadership at global tech summits
- Manage $15M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies (2018-2024)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neural-symbolic AI, or Web3 infrastructure
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent patents
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ researchers in tech environments
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit)
