Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic implementation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruption scenarios
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify promising startups for acquisition/partnership
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their impact on business strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology consulting
- Proven experience forecasting tech trends (3-5 year horizon minimum)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight publications
- Experience working with Fortune 500 executive teams
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
