Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs and impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D centers
- Present technology visions to investors, boards, and industry forums to secure resources and buy-in
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks and responsible development practices for next-gen technologies
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects to cultivate deep domain expertise
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing technologies with commercial impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with $50M+ budgets
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling strategic narratives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Global network connections in venture capital, academia, and Fortune 500 tech labs
