- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into organizational KPIs
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology impacts on industry landscapes
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in technology adoption and change management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI governance, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling tech initiatives in regulated industries (healthcare/finance preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
