Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and spatial computing
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech opportunities and risks
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members using data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching tech products with >$100M market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, blockchain governance, and sustainable tech
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TF) or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal preferred
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for experimental R&D
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or German beneficial
