- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ commercial viability
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology applications
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology commercialization strategies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 8+ years in technology strategy at Fortune 500 or leading research institutions
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future tech implications
- Experience securing $50M+ R&D funding from government/private sources
- Expert knowledge of global tech policy landscapes (US/EU/Asia regulations)
