Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and implementing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, Web3)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Oversee technology innovation labs and partnerships with academic/research institutions
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and digital transformation metrics
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with vendor/partner ecosystem optimization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or Foresight
- Experience scaling high-growth tech teams in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementation projects
