Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, focusing on AI integration, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Analyze emerging trends, market shifts, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives between R&D, product development, and commercial teams
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation portfolios to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and nurture partnerships with technology startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Manage innovation portfolio lifecycle from ideation to market deployment
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or senior R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M and teams of 50+ professionals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
